Racing at PLYC
PLYC members and friends race every Sunday morning from 10:00AM to 2:00PM during the sailing season. The club has Snipe and Interlake fleets with official starts for those class boats. Other class boats are welcome to join in the race.

Junior and Senior Racing
Starting Sunday July 25th at 3PM and continuing through the end of August we will be racing every Sunday afternoon at 3PM. All former PLYC sailing school students and members are welcome to join in the fun The team will learn how to race club owned Sunfish. The only qualification to join the team is that you must pass our swim test and be able to sail around a triangular course without coaching. We expect to practice Sunday and possibly Saturday afternoons. Those that participate will learn:
- Racing Starts
- How to cover other boats
- How to round marks in traffic
- Racing rules
- How to make your boat go as fast as possible!
